Corrections policy
A reported and confirmed error is corrected, in French and English, with a visible note.
How to report
Use the “Report it” link at the bottom of every article or write to us from the Contact page. Tell us the page, the passage and, if possible, the source that contradicts it.
How we check
We reread the cited source and the source you suggest. If the original source has changed (a price, a version, an updated figure), we use the current value and the verification date. When two sources disagree, we say so instead of averaging them.
How we correct
- Factual error (figure, date, name, price): the text is corrected, the “Updated on” date changes and an update note describes what changed.
- Typo or wording with no effect on substance: corrected without a note.
- Information that went stale (price, version): the tool page or article is updated, with the verification date next to the figure.
Every correction is made in both languages at once and goes through the same review as any other update (see our methodology).
