Anthropic still aims to list before Thanksgiving, the Financial Times reports: a raise of $80 billion to $100 billion at $1.25 to $1.75 trillion, none of it in the filing

The FT reports Anthropic still plans a pre-Thanksgiving IPO raising $80-100B. The range comes from investors, not the filing, and timing is uncertain.

The Financial Times reported on November 6, 2026, citing more than half a dozen investors, that Anthropic still plans to go public before US Thanksgiving despite the tech sell-off, expecting to raise $80 billion to $100 billion at a valuation of $1.25 to $1.75 trillion. Two framing points matter. The figures are press-reported expectations, not terms Anthropic has published: the amended filing leaves the price range blank. And the money is not raised yet. The essentials

What the filing does and does not say

The amended prospectus reports third-quarter revenue of nearly $17 billion, up almost 50 percent according to Dealroom's summary, and large infrastructure commitments. It does not contain the offering size or valuation. The roughly $81 billion annualized run rate cited by the FT is, by its own account, not in the prospectus. Anthropic's last private valuation was $965 billion in May.

Why the numbers keep moving

Reports have ranged from $1 trillion to $2 trillion in recent weeks, and prediction-market brackets shifted in the same period. Until a price range is filed and the registration is effective, any figure is an expectation that can change with markets. The Nasdaq 100 fell 6.4 percent on Thursday, per Dealroom.
